Gold Dust Woman✨??

Here's a link to my FB page for a clip of what has become one of my favourite cover songs to sing with my band, "Gold Dust Woman" by Fleetwood Mac: **Click here to have a listen. - Recorded July 20, 2018 at Rawhides in Stenen, Saskatchewan, on their fantastic outdoor stage during their Summerfest Weekend?

Music From The Soul

It was an absolute pleasure to have been on Roxalana's show, "Roxy On Art," and I'm so blessed to have shared this experience with my daughter Skye, who was also a part of the interview. We talked about our passion and inspiration for the arts, as both my daughter and I are involved in many different art forms. The episode aired on Access Communications in May, and with Roxy posting all of her interviews on Youtube, it will be a keepsake for me to treasure for years to come.

Sunsets

Me & my sunsets at the "Landscape & Memory" opening reception at the Godfrey Dean Art Gallery in Yorkton. Exhibit runs until June 16.

Rawhides, Stenen SK - Awesome Place❤️

New venues are always fun to play and I had a great time performing at in Rawhides in Stenen, Saskatchewan back in February. It was awesomeness all around: the atmosphere, people and I don't even get me started on the food!!! Such a sweet spot on the prairies. I'm posting this a little late...but with this warmer weather now, it's got me thinking about summer venues -  looking forward to returning to Rawhides this summer with my band where we'l be entertaining the crowd in the outdoors on their fantastic deck☀️??

Best Singalong?

I was honoured to have performed for the Prairie Women On Snowmobiles Fundraiser for cancer on February 5 in Esterhazy, SK. What an amazing group of ten brave women that shared their own personal story of their battle with cancer with the crowd. It was a feel-good night in witnessing the bond these women have with each other, and I am blessed to have been a part of these special evening. The evening closed with the best singalong, with the ladies joining arm and arm, and singing along to our cover of the classic Four Non Blondes tune, "What's Up." It was an awesome ending to an awesome evening with these awesome women?

FLOWERS ON THE SUN is my favourite song on my album, A New Day, and was inspired by a note my son wrote when he was four years old, which consisted solely of those four words. I thought it was beautiful and called it his first poem. I saved the note and years later, I crafteded this song about nature, the environment, and how humankind must be proactive in protecting this beautiful planet for many generations to come.
