Katie captures her love of nature and the beauty of the prairie landscape through her photography. She is proud to have been shortlisted out of thousands of entries, for Greg Johnson's photography book, "Camera Canada, Portrait of a Nation," in which three of her photos are featured. Katie's photography has also been featured by many different social media sites including Canon Canada, the Weather Network and Tourism Saskatchewan. Writing poetry is another creative outlet for Katie, and she enjoys merging the two together using her photography as a backdrop for her poems. Katie's photos are available for purchase in various mediums, including metal, canvas and notecards. Katie is also available for bookings as a freelance photographer on location for portraits and events.

Katie's songs draw on inspiration from her own life and those around her, with reoccuring themes of the importance of being true to yourself and finding light out of the darkness. Katie has released two folk-rock albums: Silverflower (2015) and A New Day (2016), and has performed at many venues, festivals, radio stations and morning television shows. Katie's musical highlight was opening for Chantal Kreviazuk at Casino Regina in 2016.
