"Camera Canada - Portrait Of A Nation"

A few days before Christmas, I was super pumped at the arrival of the much anticipated photography book, “Camera Canada, Portrait of a Nation,” which features the work of close to 200 photographers, curated by tornado hunter, Greg Johnson. Greg’s vision was to showcase the work of photographers that have taken one of his camera workshops, with the stipulation that all photos submitted must be shot in Canada. Over 6000 images were submitted for this 240 page book, and I am blessed to be have three of my photos featured. I’ve always loved photography, but after experiencing one of Greg’s workshops a couple of years ago, I became seriously passionate in pursuing photography with the gained knowledge of how a camera works, seeking inspiration from my connection with nature and continuing to shoot beloved photos of my family, especially in the summer at Sandy Lake. Congratulations to all of the talented photographers that made the book and a huge pat on the back to Greg Johnson for undertaking this enormous project and very treasured keepsake.
